The state guidelines for salon operations during COVID19 requires that all clients wear a mask during any hair service. We, as stylists know that our industry has some very unique reasons that make traditional masks on clients problematic.

During shampooing the straps can become wet and stretch.

Cutting on hairline, sideburn or behind the ear the strap is in the way and can even get cut through.

With color or chemical service the strap can become soaked with chemical products and cause staining or chemical burn.
We have solved each of these problems with HairCutMask because there are no straps!
HairCutMask, the strap-free face covering system is a single use, self adhesive, disposable mask and face shield for client use during any hair service. It is a revolutionary way to add a layer of protection for both client and stylist.
Our mask is equipped with skin safe adhesive so there is no need for fastening around the ear or behind the head. This ensures that the mask is not interfering with the service, while keeping the client’s nose and mouth securely and comfortably covered. It is built with flexible ,breathable material and a 5 layer activated carbon filter.
Our Patent Pending system also includes a clear face shield with skin safe adhesive. This blocks particles and hair from getting in the eyes, and helps the client resist the temptation to touch their face.

Our Story
We are a family of makers, always thinking of things that could make the world a better place. I am Reina Goodrich, a hairdresser with 20 plus years of experience.
When I realized what was happening with COVID19, I knew I had to use my deep understanding of the client/stylist interaction to think of a way to help my industry get back to work in the safest possible way.
My husband, Darryle Hawes, has many years of design and manufacturing expertise. He has built strong connections through his work and has been able to source the best possible components for our projects.
We love to design and make together and have even passed these passions and principles along to our son, Hampton.
These things in combination make us uniquely qualified to answer the call of these trying times. We are happy to bring this product to market and help in the way that we can.
